The Vacancy
Braefield Care Centre is situated in the picturesque twin village of Kells and Connor. The surrounding rural area, centred on agriculture lends to a therapeutic environment for those living there. Braefield Care Centre provides services for individuals with physical disabilities, mental health illnesses, old age, frailty and dementia. For this role an NMC pin is required.
Braefield Care Centre has 4 separate units;
Killybegs : 8 bedded Mental Health Unit - led by a Mental Health Nurse Unit Manager. This service has its own individual activity therapist.
Kells - 21 bedded Dementia Nursing Unit
Ballee - 17 bedded Nursing Unit
Connor - a 10 bedded Mental Health Unit - led by a Mental Health Nurse Unit Manager. This Service has its own individual activity therapist.
Approved Teaching Facility for Student Nurses from University of Ulster.
